Timber is one of the cornerstone industry's for the Central North Island.  We have a vast collection of displays and information from the 1900's, showcasing the world that was the establishment of forestry.  Experience the pioneering spirit that grew Aotearoa.

Stop in!   You'll find us on State Highway 1 -  3kms South of Putaruru.

Every day except Sundays and Mondays 

Look for our sign of the left hand side of SH 1 as you head to Taupo. Guided tours for groups are available on weekdays by prior arrangement. Please call in advance.  We can arrange a suitable guide for your tour group and catering.  Let us tailor a package to suit your needs.
